Department for Education awarded a contract to Benestar Group for the provision of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services and critical incident response management as part of a panel of providers.

The arrangement covered confidential solution-focused counselling for employees and their immediate families, on-site psychological support to employees following critical incidents using best-practice trauma management procedures, and other psychological services specifically including directed away and welfare check risk assessments for mental health purposes.

The panel arrangement had an estimated value of $7,500,000 (Inc GST).
