About

Department of Communities awarded a contract to Fujitsu Australia Ltd for ongoing support of the Family and Domestic Violence Incident Reporting (FVIR) Triage application.

The FVIR Triage application received approximately 48,000 family and domestic violence incident reports per year from WA Police and supported joint risk assessment, identification of the best-placed responder, coordination of partner-agency responses, and investigation of multi-agency case management for high-risk cases across seventeen Child Protection districts.

The application had been delivered on the Microsoft Azure platform since 2022 as a replacement for a legacy PeopleSoft solution and generated roughly 20 operational support tickets per month.

The contract was envisaged to succeed the incumbent support arrangement from 1 January 2025.
