About
Department of Communities awarded a contract to ServiceNow (ServiceNow Australia Pty Ltd) for renewal of various subscription-based ServiceNow software licenses.
The contract covered continuation of the ServiceNow platform already deployed at Communities, which was purpose-built in 2017, and supplied the toolset used by the IT and Human Resources helpdesks to create and track tickets through to resolution.
The solution included advanced features such as automation and workflow to streamline IT service provision, performance tracking of the helpdesk provider, and capabilities to manage IT hardware and software assets.
The renewal ensured Communities could continue to use the existing ServiceNow deployment to support IS Service Delivery and provide a central place for staff to request IT and HR services.
The renewal preserved continuity of a purpose-built ServiceNow deployment (2017), maintaining existing automation, workflows and asset-management capabilities that support the Department's IT and HR service delivery.
