About
DCYJMA awarded a contract to Infinity Community Solutions Ltd for the provision of 20 Intensive Foster Care places for children and young people with long-term disability and/or high medical care needs, delivered in partnership with Kummara Limited.
The service was rolled out incrementally: 10 places from 1 February 2023, 15 places from 1 April 2023, and 20 places from 1 July 2023 ongoing.
The contract, valued at $4,759,819 and procured via a limited method, includes standard carer training modules plus additional training in Trust Based Relational Intervention and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, access to an online training portal, and both primary and short break placements using a whole-of-family support approach.
Child Specific Flexible Support funds are available to purchase, broker, or resource supports for placement stability.
