DCSSDS-SDS awarded a contract to Hope Support Services Australia LTD for specialised services and support providing thirteen places for children and young people with complex support needs across six outlets at any one time.

The service delivery model includes 2-place residential settings with one worker for 16 hours per day plus an eight-hour sleepover shift, and 3-place residential settings with 1.5 workers for 16 hours per day (totaling 24 hours per day) plus an eight-hour sleepover shift, allowing flexible rostering.

The service must provide culturally safe and secure support to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and young people to maintain cultural identity and connection to family and community, and encourage engagement in education, training, or employment.

The contract value is AUD 7,921,007, procured via a limited method under the Social Services category.
